Top Gun 2: I feel the need, the need for Geritol

Seriously though, does this guy age?

Top Gun was released in 1986, 32 years ago.

There's a mini controversy about what kind of plane he will fly:

http://www.scmp.com/news/world/united-s ... ovie-going

The poster shows a Super Hornet, which is what I worked on in Pax River, MD after leaving Japan. It was still being tested in those days so it was the latest thing at the time (late 90s). The F-35 people think it should be their plane because it's newer. The F-14s he flew in the original are long gone.

His co-star in 86, Val Kilmer is showing his age.

Val could not fit in a plane.

Their volleyball game would be tragic rather than homoerotic.

Apparently today they use Hornets and Super Hornets. (F-18 C and E respectively) And the 2-seater versions (D and F), which are for training. Only training squadrons have 2-seaters.

Not to worry, Tom has special protection from aging via this Thetans and all that other L. Ron Hubris.
You can lead them to knowledge, but you can't make them think.

Yeah, but when they do it often goes wrong. Just let them win, rather like wookies...

Actually he lost a bit of weight but apperently had some throat/mouth/neck cancer that he was treated for. He's in a bit of rough shape but he is signed on for the new Top Gun 2.

Kind of hard to watch :(

I really liked Val. Then I read about what a dick he is. Karma sucks.
