I really crave a good ghost story.

1922 on Netflix was a decent ghost story.

An oldish one, but I really enjoyed Oculus. The aspect I liked (besides Karen Gillian) was the efforts to account for altered senses.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

Stephen King and Peter Straub wrote a ghost story called, imaginatively enough, Ghost Story. It was pretty good. Was also made into a pretty decent movie, IMO.

My favorite Ghost story, though, is The Legend of Hell House. Dunno why, I just like it.

Yep.
It's a good one. Movie I mean, haven't read the book.

Was "Ghost Story" as good as their collaboration on "The Talisman"?
(or at least better than its sequel "The Black House"?)

Ooops, mistake. Talisman was their collaboration. Ghost Story was just Straub. Got confused.

But it was a good book either way
