Giddyup, those are Russians: American F-22s flew out to monitor two Russian TU-95 "Bear" bombers flying close to Alaska on Friday, CNN reports.
Giddyup? Really? You wrote that? You need smacking.
http://www.newser.com/story/259163/russ ... laska.htmlThe F-22s stayed close until the Russians left a stretch of mostly international airspace along Alaska's coastline, per Fox News. The nuclear-capable bombers didn't enter US airspace, but not everyone took it kindly: "Putin's Russia is in the nuclear intimidation business and is willing to burn to lot unnecessary bomber fuel," a former Pentagon weapons expert tells the Washington Free Beacon, which broke the story. "Threatening people with nuclear weapons is Russia's national sport." Russian bombers haven't flown that close to Alaska since F-22s intercepted TU-95sthere last April.
So, this also happened last month? How about everyday last month. Why are you just now reporting it?
A Russian TU-95 is an impressive machine. In 1960 their capability scared the bejesus out of every real 'merican. In 1980 we saw them regularly as they did their flybys of our carriers. But today I find it impressive they can find enough fuel to fly it.
As to the Raptor
A machine so responsive that it can kill a pilot with too heavy a hand.
