Well his jokes aren't funny anymore.

Yes this is pretty much a pillory thread.

US comedian Bill Cosby's defence lawyers have rested their case after presenting a single, brief witness in his sexual assault trial.
Defence lawyers called to the stand a detective who led a 2005 investigation into claims that he drugged and molested a woman at his home in 2004.
The embattled star, 79, earlier told a judge he would not testify to defend himself against those allegations.
...
He told Judge Steven O'Neill that he had decided not to testify after speaking with his lawyers.

Detective Richard Schaffer appeared for just six minutes on the defence's behalf, in which he told a jury that Ms Constand had visited Mr Cosby at an out-of-state casino.
...
Mr Schaffer also said police knew Mr Cosby had vision problems more than a decade ago, supporting the actor's claim that he is blind.
Judge O'Neill rejected a request to call the defence's second witness, a woman who worked with Ms Constand at Philadelphia's Temple University, where Ms Cosby met the accuser.

Defense closing argument.
snip
Constand initially told police that Cosby drugged and molested her in March 2004 — but then walked back that claim to sometime in January.

Constand also backpedaled on a previous claim to cops that she’d never been alone with Cosby before the assault — which she admitted wasn’t true.

“Be careful, be careful, a man’s life hangs on it,” McMonagle warned.

The lawyer tried to convince jurors — as the defense had throughout the trial — that Constand was pursuing a romantic relationship with Cosby leading up to the alleged assault and called him 53 times after it happened.

Jury deliberates
The jury that will determine Bill Cosby‘s fate called it quits without coming to a verdict late Monday, following four hours and 20 minutes of deliberations.

The panel was excused at 9:40 pm, after a 13-hour day that included a six-minute defense case and nearly five hours of closing arguments from both sides.

We'll see soon enough.

I need to lay off a few of my bets. Any takers?

There was a reason for only 2 (1) defense witness. Hard to read this stuff from the outside.

I'd say even money on not guilty

NORRISTOWN, Pa. – Jurors in Bill Cosby’s sex assault trial asked for clarification Tuesday on one of the criminal charges against him.

Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault for allegedly drugging victim Andrea Constand and molesting her while she was passed out at his home in 2004.

Nearly seven hours into deliberations, the jury of seven men and five women asked Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill to clarify Count 3, which specifically pertains to Cosby “administering the intoxicant.”

“Will you please define in count 3 ‘without her knowledge?’” the jurors’ note read.

But the judge said he was unable to provide more information.

Bill was smiling. The defense was frowning.

We'll see.

He gave her some pills to take, right? Did she know what was in those pills?

Personally I wouldn't want to rest my defense on that.

Would this guy have had trouble getting pussy without drugging women? He's rich and famous. I don't get it.

Jurors have deliberated for nearly 30 hours as they consider allegations that the 79-year-old entertainer drugged and molested Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his gated estate near Philadelphia in 2004.
...
Some jurors have appeared frustrated when returning to the courtroom where the eight-day trial has taken place.

“They’ve been here a long time. I’m sure they would like to reach a verdict. I hope they do, and I hope it’s today, but I don’t know if that will happen,” said high-profile attorney Gloria Allred, who represents some of Cosby’s accusers.

They are mad at each other. This is going to be hung.
