The Urban Dictionary defines virtue signaling as follows:
"To take a conspicuous but essentially useless action ostensibly to support a good cause but actually to show off how much more moral you are than everybody else."
I suspect those "Queers for Palestine" like the idea of supporting Palestine but like the idea of showing how much more "woke" and moral they are than everyone else even more
Second, there's a huge difference between endorsing a people's views and not wanting over-the-top violence to be committed against them.
So when they hold silly flags that say "Queers for Palestine" I should not read that to mean they are actually "for" Palestine or anything.
Thirdly, I find it hugely hypocritical for the same people to criticize Palestine for having the same sexist, homophopic, racist views and violent attitudes they happily support at home. The same people who are very much part of a "suicide cult" indeed.
